I would like to begin by first thanking all of those
individuals who have so graciously assisted me in both the scholarly and
technical tasks involved in creating this publication.
It is my hope that
as this project develops and matures it will become apparent that your trust and
support will not have been in vain.
I see this journal as a meeting place
for both established and beginning scholars who are seeking to engage in a
conversation that is not often found in the mainstream of criminology, criminal
justice or offender treatment.
